An example of a large roof refurbishment project that was undertaken by Clegg & Shortman is the Tavistock Railway Station. This building was classified as a Heritage Works site and involved the removal of the existing slates, installation of new felts, battens and lead work. The chimneys were rebuilt, new roof lights installed and finally the original slates were replaced.
